V roce 2002 to byl „Black Stig“ kdo v pořadu Top Gear testoval vozidla. Ve skutečnošti šlo anglického jezdce Perryho McCarthyho. Od roku 2003 pro Top Gear jezdí „White Stig“ jehož totožnost byla konečně odhalena – jedná se o dubléra Bena Collinse.
